Articulation Agreements With ECC & MCC

Alfred State College (ASC)
has signed articulation agreements with two local community colleges, Erie
(ECC) and Monroe (MCC), in order to facilitate the transfer process between the
community colleges and Alfred
State.  Both articulation agreements reside in the School of Management and Engineering Technology at
ASC.

Alfred State College (ASC)
has signed articulation agreements with two local community colleges, Erie
(ECC) and Monroe (MCC), in order to facilitate the transfer process between the
community colleges and Alfred
State.  Both articulation agreements reside in the School of Management and Engineering Technology at
ASC.

The
agreement between ASC and ECC allows students who have completed ECC's
court/realtime reporting certificate program with an average of "C" or better
to transfer into ASC's associate degree program in court and realtime reporting
as second-year students.

The
agreement between ASC and MCC allows students who graduate from MCC with a
general business-business administration associate's degree and who have
achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (of a possible 4.0)
for all courses taken, and achieved a minimum overall grade point average of
2.5 (out of a possible 4.0) for all courses taken in the business discipline
are guaranteed admission into ASC's bachelor-degree level financial planning
program with full junior status.

Students who do not meet the
stated criteria will be evaluated for acceptance on a case-by-case basis.
