Retirees of Alfred State were honored recently at the school's annual recognition luncheon. Faculty and staff members who retired this year include Neil Benedict, Wellsville, NY, associate vice president of Student Life, Student Affairs; the late Milton Brown, Wellsville, NY, associate professor, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology; Sue Cole, Canisteo, NY, secretary II, School of Arts and Sciences; Joan Norman, Wellsville, NY, cleaner, Facilities Services; Bonnie Perkins, Wellsville, NY, keyboard specialist, Automotive Trades; Stewart Sharrett, Alfred Station, NY, carpenter, Facilities Services; Carl Thompson, Greenwood, NY, janitor, Facilities Services; and Rita White, janitor, Facilities Services. All retirees received a certificate and an engraved pewter plate to commemorate their time at the college.
