Alfred State Campus Recreation will be offering students an opportunity to sign up for an extended orientation July 14-17. This will include a two-night stay at lakeside campsites in the Adirondacks. While in the Adirondacks, students will enjoy a white water rafting trip, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and connecting with new students. The total cost of this trip is $75 per student.
Students will arrive on campus Monday, July 13, 2020 (or the previous evening if participating in our Overnight Experience) for orientation and will spend the night on campus before departing for the Adirondacks July 14 at 7 a.m. Students should pack clothes to get wet, water shoes, and hiking boots. The recreation department will provide all necessary gear and equipment.
The group will return to campus in the late evening on July 16. Students will have the option to stay on campus until July 17 before returning home.
