New four-year agriculture program coming to Alfred State in fall 2019

Alfred State College is excited to announce that it will soon launch the first four-year agriculture program in the school’s history.

Unique agricultural automation major offered

Classes for this unique new associate degree program, titled agricultural automation and robotics, will begin in the fall 2019. Students in this major, the only one of its kind in the US, will receive hands-on experience with automated milking equipment, as well as class work in both agriculture and engineering.

In addition, several ranking sites have rated the college highly when comparing all US schools offering these and other programs within the School of Arts and Sciences.
