Additional Learning Labs

The Refinery Restaurant
The Refinery Restaurant celebrates the region’s history while preparing new generations of culinary professionals to feed the appetite of employers looking for highly trained staff and managers. Students learn skills at The Refinery from fine dining to casual fare.
Alfred State students constantly adjust and refine the menu at The Refinery to reflect current trends and the preferences of patrons. Menu selections often include farm-to-table options, seasonal presentations, themed menus, decadent desserts, and healthier options too.
The Rig at Culinary Arts
The Rig serves as the Wellsville campus’s dining services and features snacks and lunches crafted by the Culinary Arts students. During the semester, students create and serve formal sit-down dinners for patrons, helping them gain industry experience and preparing them for careers in the culinary arts.
