Visit Alfred State, Then Decide!

360 Virtual TourThe best way to get the inside scoop and really see what Alfred State has to offer is to come for a visit during the academic year when classes are in session. However, we understand that you lead busy lives and summer may be your only option to fit in a college visit.

Join us on a weekday for an opportunity to go on a guided campus tour with one of our student ambassadors and meet with an Admissions representative. Please note that academic department tours are not available during the summer.

Summer visits are available Tuesday, May 28 - Friday, Aug. 9 by appointment. We apologize that we are unable to offer tours June 13 and 14, and July 3 - 5.

To schedule an appointment, phone 1-800-4-ALFRED or (607) 587-4215. We are happy to personally arrange a visit to best suit your schedule and needs. You may also begin planning your visit by submitting the campus visit form. Due to significant construction across campus, we ask that you notify us in advance of any special mobility needs.

Before visiting, check out these tips for a successful college visit and questions to ask when choosing a college. You may wish to print our visitor's guide (PDF 11 MB), which includes campus maps to help you locate visitor parking lots. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.

ASC Is Smoke-free

For the health of our community, smoking is prohibited on campus except in outside designated smoking areas. See the Alfred campus map and Wellsville campus map for designated areas. Students who need help quitting may get assistance from the Health and Wellness Services Office on campus. This policy reduces involuntary exposure to second-hand smoke and facilitates a healthier environment for students, faculty, staff, administrators, visitors, and community members. Thank you for your cooperation.
