Hollie Hall was hired at Alfred State in August 2007 as a counselor in the Counseling Services Department. She later served as interim director of Student Affairs at the Wellsville campus from October 2009 until February 2010, and began her duties as executive assistant to the president of Alfred State in January 2011. Hall was named senior director of Health and Wellness Services in September 2012, after holding the position on an interim basis since September 2011. Hall was a charter member of the Alfred State chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, which was installed in February 2015.
Prior to joining the college staff, she worked as a clinical counselor at the Counseling Center in Wellsville and as a sociotherapist at Crestwood Children’s Center in Rochester. Hall holds a Master of Science degree in education from Alfred University and a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Brockport.
The Whitesville Central School graduate resides in Whitesville with her husband, Todd Nelson, and sons, Jake and Sulivan Nelson.
