Degree in music from Messiah College
Director of drama and Drama Club adviser, Janna joined Alfred State College in 2010. Instilled with a love of music and theater from an early age, Buckwalter has been performing since she was a child. Buckwalter taught music in the Rochester City School District before returning to Alfred and falling in love with theater. She has been actively involved in local theater at the community and university levels for the last four years, working with both local and professional directors. Her favorite part of directing is seeing each individual’s energy, ideas, and creativity come together to tell a single story.
