Tricia Herritt (Developer, Belief, Positivity, Arranger, Empathy) is a person voted class friend in high school. She seeks to motivate people to do their best through being positive, empathic and working hard to help every student achieve their goals. Tricia has worked in several roles at Alfred State from teaching swimming lessons, Residential Life, Counseling Services, and Student Activities. She has been a club adviser to the Stationan, Arts and Crafts Club, International Club, and yes was even Assistant Track and Field Coach. Her current role is the one she was born to do; working with International Student Services. Tricia sees herself as the genie that helps grant wishes as she helps students peruse their academics from around the world at Alfred and sends students from Alfred to study abroad. Prior to coming to Alfred, she worked as a youth pastor, in a law office and even at a mini mart to put her way through grad school. Tricia's greatest achievement is being a wife and mom to three amazing children. Tricia's undergraduate work from Toccoa Falls College is in Intercultural Studies with a minor in Education and her graduate degree from Nyack College is a Masters in Professional Studies with a Counseling concentration.
