The Alfred State Sustainability Team endeavors to improve the quality and sustainability of life at Alfred State and in the community. We are taking the lead at Alfred State on implementing the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment to inventory greenhouse gas use on the campus, reduce emissions, and achieve climate neutrality as soon as possible.
The Sustainability Team involves students, faculty, and staff who will work to bring about economic, environmental, health and social benefits from a reduced carbon footprint, more efficient energy use, improved environmental quality, and conservation of natural resources.
