Spring Break 2011 Part III ~ Athens

Submitted by sovarr on Sun, 03/27/2011 - 2:21pm

Ciao Tutti!

I have all of my photos organized from our Athens trip, so now I can finally tell you all about it!

Athens was an amazing place. It had tons of awesome souvenier shops and stores, amazing food and restaurants (not as good as the ones in Sorrento, but they are pretty close!), and the amount of ancient ruins in the city made for the perfect end to our spring break.

Spring Break Part II ~ Barcelona

Submitted by sovarr on Wed, 03/23/2011 - 7:51pm

Ciao Tutti!

I finally have gotten all of my photos organized from the second part of my travels during spring break, so I can now tell you all about the second city I got to visit: Barcelona!

Me and my friends left Rome very early in the morning from Rome, and arrived in Barcelona around 11 o'clock, so we could still manage to do half a day of sight seeing, and we took full advantage.

Since me and my friends are architecture nuts (which is not in any way embarrassing) we went to see the work of one of the most innovative thinkers of his time: Antonio Gaudi.

My Spring break Travels ~ Part 1: The Vatican

Submitted by sovarr on Sun, 03/20/2011 - 5:57am

Ciao tutti!

I am so sorry that it has been so long since my last post, due to the European ‘backpacking’ lifestyle that I lived for the past week, I simply could not find the means to post blogs during my travels of Europe. As I had promised in my last blog post, I will now take the opportunity to tell you all about my travels during spring break during my next several blog posts. I hope you enjoy hearing about my travels as much as I enjoyed living them!

I GOT ENGAGED!

Submitted by sovarr on Mon, 02/28/2011 - 12:44pm

Ciao ragazzi!

Sorry I haven't written a blog in a while, you will come to find that I have had a very busy weekend! This past weekend, my girlfriend Meg and I went to Paris, France!

For about two weeks prior to this trip, I decided on a whim that I wanted to propose to Meg on the Eiffel Tower, because I just know that she is the perfect woman for me. Sorry I couldn't tell you guys about it before hand, I had to keep it a secret from just about everyone!
