What does Live@EDU mean for me?

Microsoft’s Live@EDU is the new host for student e-mail accounts at Alfred State. Live@EDU is the type of account you will have, which will allow you access to certain resources. Having a Live@EDU account means you will have access to many Microsoft resources for free. You will have “cloud-based” storage for documents and pictures as well as access to programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote all right from the Web. However, having a Live@EDU account does not mean your e-mail address will change to Username@Live.edu, it will remain Username@alfredstate.edu.
