Why can't I login to my live@EDU account?

Answer: 

There are several reasons why you may not be able to login.

  1. If you do not put your e-mail address with the @Alfredstate.edu, it will not allow you to log in.
    1. i.e., SmithJR@alfredstate.edu [1] will be allowed to log in, SmithJR will not.
  2. If your password has not been changed since the mailboxes were migrated to Live@EDU [2] it will not allow you to login. Please refer the "Will My password be the same?" section of this guide [3].
  3. If your account is locked, please call the Alfred State Computer Help Desk at (607) 587-4357.
