Coach Doorley believes the honor is well deserved. "Brianne has great all-around skills. She has worked very hard on improving her foot speed and body control. She has improved her vertical explosiveness and that has helped her emerge as even a bigger presence at the net this season. Brianne's work ethic, commitment and communication have been a big part in the success that this team has realized over the past two seasons"
During the regular season, McMahon was named the MVP of the Mohawk Valley CC and Alfred State Tournament. She was named to the all-tournament team at the Onondaga CC Tournament as well.
So far this postseason she has been named 1st team All-WNYAC and was named the MVP of the Region III Division III Tournament.
This follows a freshmen season where she was named an honorable mention NJCAA Division III All-American, the Region III Division III Player of the Year, 1st team All-WNYAC, and team MVP.
McMahon and her teammates will look to add to the success of the 2007 season when they travel to the NJCAA Division III National Championships November 16-17 in Rochester, MN.
