The Alfred State College baseball team will take on #2 Genesee CC in the semifinals of the Western New York Athletic Conference Championships.  First pitch of the contest will be at 11 a.m. at Genesee CC.

ASC downed #6 Mercyhurst North East 4-3 while GCC downed #7 Jamestown CC 11-4.

The Pioneers and the Cougars split a doubleheader on September 30.  GCC won the opener 9-1 and ASC won the nightcap 3-1.

The winner of the ASC/GCC match-up will take on the winner of the #1 Monroe CC/#4 Erie CC match-up.  ECC was a 9-1 winner over Niagara CCC in their first round match-up.  The championship game will be played at 3 p.m. at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia.
