Jody Ninos (Alfred Almond) netted two goals and passed out an assist as the Alfred State College women's soccer team downed JCC-Olean 3-0 in a WNYAC contest.  A-State improves to 5-5-1 overall on the season and 4-5-1 in Region III Division III play.

Ninos scored the lone goal of the 1st half. 

Ashleigh Houghtaling (Northern Potter, PA) made it 2-0 when she opened up the scoring in the 2nd half after getting a pass from Ninos.  Ninos sealed the victory with her 2nd goal (sixth goal of the season) of the game.

Philicia Harris (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) made four saves to record her third shutout of the season.

The Blue and Gold return to action on Thursday when they host Erie CC at 4 p.m.
