Jason Gildner, a former player and assistant coach at Alfred State, has guided the men’s soccer team to a 17-25-4 record in his first three years. He has led the Pioneeers to two Region III Division III Tournament including leading the 2009 team to the quarterfinals of the regional tournament.

As a Pioneer assistant coach between 2005 and 2007, Gildner helped set up daily practices, provided technical information and hands on skills training, and helped coach the 2006 team that advanced all the way to the Region III Division III Final Four.

Currently, Gildner works at Alfred State as a multi-media technician in the instructional technologies department.

Gildner graduated from Portville Central School in 2001 and attained a associate degree in liberal arts and humanities from Alfred State in 2005.

Gildner resides in Wellsville with his wife and his three children.
