Each team will consist of seven players, one of which will be a goalie. Co-Rec must be 4 guys and 3 girls or 4 girls and 3 guys.
- The game will consist of two 15 minute halves. The clock will stop in the last two minutes of the second half on a goal or dead ball situation.
- Scoring: All goals count 1 point.
- Each team is allowed two time outs per game.
- There may be no more than 2 Varsity soccer players per team.
- There will be no off-sides
- There will be no slide tackles - penalty indirect kick from the spot of the infraction.
- Out of Play: The sidelines will be out of bounds. We will use throw-ins in this case.
- Direct and Indirect Kicks:
- A direct kick will be awarded when: fouls involving contact, tripping, kicking, striking, jumping in, holding, charging and handball.
- An indirect kick will be awarded when fouls involving no contact, dangerous play (above chest), illegal substitutions, fouls on goalie, improper procedure for kicks and drop balls. An indirect kick must hit someone before a goal can be scored.
- All players must be 10 feet away from where a kick is to be taken.
- Penalty Kick:
- When any contact foul takes place in the penalty box. This will be pointed out to you before game.
- When unsportsmanlike conduct is called (judgement call).
- Goalie Rights:
- The goalie has the right to go to either side of sideline (will be shown) and also within the penalty box (wil be shown).
- The goalie cannot throw the ball past the halfway mark. He/She cannot score at any time. No full forced kicks will be allowed.
- There will be no screw-in cleats.
- No high kicks above the waist.
- You cannot use your back to move into a play. This is considered dangerous play as well as playing the man and not the ball.
- Violent Fouls: Any intentional, violentfouls will result in the player committing the foul to have to sit in the penalty box for one minute while his/her team plays shorthanded for that minute. Penalty - direct free kick.
- All games will remain ties except those involved in double elimination and those called "playoff" games. (League games will remain ties).
- Playoffs will not end in a tie. There will be a 3 minute overtime, if there is still a tie, then we will use a sudden death shootout alternating teams.
