International Student Scholarships

Two scholarships are available for international students who qualify.

International Excellence Scholarship

$7000 awarded to international students who meet two of the following criteria: 213 computer based TOEFL exam score (79-80 on Internet based exam, 550 on paper exam), 3.25 college grade point average (a 90 overall high school average may be substituted), and/or 1200 combined math and critical reading SAT score.

International Merit Scholarship

$3000 awarded to international students who meet two of the following criteria:195 computer based TOEFEL exam score (71 on Internet based exam, 525 on paper exam), 3.0 college grade point average (an 88 overall high school average may be substituted), and/or 1100 combined math and critical reading SAT score.

No application is necessary for these scholarships. They are automatically awarded to students who qualify. These scholarships are now only being awarded when a student enters Alfred State College in the fall semester.
