Evelyn Turner Culinary Arts Scholarship

In Memory of Henry “Hank” Turner

Award amounts:

• $1,000 to one full-time incoming freshman in the culinary arts curriculum
• $1,000 to one full-time incoming freshman in the culinary arts: baking, production & management curriculum
• $1,000 to one full-time continuing/returning student in the culinary arts curriculum
• $1,000 to one full-time continuing/returning student in the culinary arts: baking, production & management curriculum

Eligibility:

• Qualify for financial assistance
• Good academic standing in high school upon review of transcript
• Good academic standing while attending Alfred State College
• Exhibit other academic excellence or achievements

Selection process:

The Culinary Arts Department, along with Admissions and Student Financial Services, will select recipients based on the above criteria.

Payment details:

$500 will be distributed each semester.
