On June 23, Mahl and his fellow travelers joined up with competitors of the annual controlled-speed endurance rally known as “The Great Race,” which Alfred State competes in every year.
“We are eager to launch our new brand this fall, which will set the direction for the next generation of Alfred State Pioneers,” said Alfred State Director of Athletics Jason Doviak.
The article, titled “Leo Roi: Millionaire Sleuth,” focuses on a popular series of novels written by Phillips Lore (1942-1988).
Alfred State College students once again held their own as they went head-to-head against competitors from around the country in the annual National SkillsUSA Championship in Louisville, KY, coming away with two medals and four top-10 finishes.

United by their Alfred State College roots and a desire to make a difference, a group of ASC alumni came together recently to upgrade the infrastructure at Lions Camp Badger.
The DC Arboretum Eagle Nest Cam, made possible thanks to some Alfred State College students, is back in the spotlight again, as it was recently highlighted in an article by Mashable.com.

The NCAA Division III Membership Committee has announced that Alfred State has satisfied the requirements of year four of the membership process and is now officially a member of Division III of the NCAA.
Honorees received a certificate and a college umbrella.
