The Alfred State College men's cross country team finished 4th while the women's team finished 6th at the Bruce Bridgeman Finger Lakes CC Invitational on Friday afternoon.

The Alfred State College women's soccer team couldn't knock off #1 Broome CC in a Region III Division III contest on Thursday afternoon.  The Blue and Gold fall to 3-5-1 on the year following the 7-0 defeat.

The Alfred State College volleyball team moved up one spot to #9 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The Lady Pioneers have been ranked as high as #7 and were ranked #10 last week.

A-State hangs tough with Monroe

The Alfred State College men's soccer team hung tough with #10 Monroe CC in a Western New York Athletic Conference contest.  MCC, 7-1 overall, downed the Pioneers 3-0.
Q&A with Kaila Smith

Kaila SmithAlfred State College three-sport athlete Kaila Smith (Alfred Almond) has scored one goal and has one assist on the women's soccer team thus far.  The Lady Pioneers are 3-4-1 on the year.

Smith was a member of the basketball team and the softball team and this season she has suited up in all eight of ASC's contests.

Lady Pioneers drop heartbreaker

Genesee CC scored with 5:38 remaining in the contest to break a 1-1 tie en route to a 2-1 Western New York Athletic Conference victory over Alfred State on Tuesday afternoon.  The win improves the Lady Cougars to 7-2-1 and drops the Lady Pioneers to 3-4-1.
Lancscape Students Help ASC Grounds Crew
