In order to be considered for Phi Theta Kappa, students must achieve a 3.5 overall GPA and maintain a 3.25 GPA throughout their college career.
The concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28 is free and open to the public.

According to the photographer, Kyle Reynolds, “It’s Out There” includes a sampling of the wide-ranging subjects he has photographed over the past decade. Subjects include local shelter dogs, wildlife, plant life, and photography captured while trail running.
A total of 105 employers were on-hand for the 2019 Alfred campus career fair, compared to 92 employers in the spring of 2018, and 73 employers in 2017. As for the Wellsville campus’ spring career fair, 91 employers attended in 2019, compared to 80 in 2018 and 68 in 2017.
Dr. Gary Lounsberry, a professor emeritus of Alfred State College, was recently presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who’s Who, the world’s premier publisher of biographical profiles.
About 175 Alfred State College and 50 Alfred University students volunteered recently to make a difference in their surrounding communities during the annual Spring Into Action Day of Service.
Led by students, the events will focus on sustainability and increasing awareness about this topic across campus. All events are free and open to the public.
