The Alfred State women's team is now ranked #3 and the men's team is ranked #5 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll. The Pioneers had held the #2 spot in each of the polls the past two weeks.
The Alfred State women's cross country team finished 8th while the men were 9th at the Hamilton College Invitational. The Lady Pioneers scored a 254 while the men scored a 253.
The cross country teams and the women's soccer team remained in their spots in the latest NJCAA Division III polls. Both the men's and women's cross country teams are ranked #2 for the 2nd straight week while the women's soccer team sits at #4 for the 2nd straight week.
The Alfred State athletic department will induct five new members into the hall of fame during 2012 Homecoming/Family Weekend festivities. Longtime athletic director Kathy Feldman, basketball player Larry Mulcahy, softball player Jodie Corsi, cross country & track and field athlete David Dominguez, and pole vaulter Kurt Dunn will join the Hall of Fame on October 12th.
