The Alfred State College softball team split with Herkimer CCC in their 2009 season finale. Herkimer took the first game 9-1 but the Lady Pioneers bounced back for a 1-0 victory in game two. The Lady Pioneers finish the campaign with a 13-23 overall mark and a 10-15 record in Region III Division III contests.

The Alfred State College softball team fell to Corning CC, ranked #4 in NJCAA Division III, in their final road contest of the season. The Lady Pioneers are now 12-22 (9-14 Region III Division III) after 10-6 and 10-2 defeats.

The offense never got going as the Alfred State College softball team fell 4-0 to Broome CC in a Region III Division III contest on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Pioneers are now 12-20 overall on the season and 9-12 in RIII DIII play.

The Alfred State College softball team saw leads in the 7th inning slip away in both halves of a WNYAC doubleheader with Erie CC. The Lady Kats earned 8-7 (eight innings) and 6-4 victories.

Mercyhurst North East pitching limited Alfred State College to just six hits in a doubleheader sweep on Saturday afternoon in North East, PA. The Lady Saints won the opener 13-0 and the nightcap 2-0 to improve to 20-11 on the year and 7-1 in WNYAC play while the Pioneers are now 9-12.
