The Alfred State College athletic department has launched a new facebook page with hopes of creating a more interactive experience for current, future, and past Pioneer athletes and fans to interact.
The Alfred State College men's soccer team gave #1 seed Herkimer CCC all they could handle but fell 1-0 to the Generals in a Region III Division III Tournament quarterfinal contest. The Pioneers, seeded #8, finish the season with a 8-7-1 record.

Kevin Arilotta (Churchville), Masanari Yamamoto (Tokyo, Japan), Erik Reynolds (East Rochester), and Dan Krajcir (Gloversville) were first team selections while Steven Hickey (Aquinas) was named to the second team.

Both Alfred State College soccer games scheduled for Pioneer Stadium this weekend have been cancelled due to the snow accumulation on the field. Pioneer Stadium's turf has nearly three inches of snow on top of it currently with more snow expected on Friday.
The Alfred State College men's soccer team outshot Jamestown CC 14 to 4 but fell 2-1 in a WNYAC contest in Jamestown on Wednesday afternoon. The Pioneers are now 6-5-1 on the year and 5-4-1 in Region III Division III play.
