Four members of the Alfred State College men's soccer team have been named to the All-WNYAC second team. CJ Reynolds (East Rochester), Peter Dezio (East Rochester), Nick Peraino (Geneseo) and Tim Randall (Churchville Chili) helped the Pioneers to a 5-9-1 season.
#5 Onondaga CC downed #12 Alfred State College 5-0 in a Region III Division III Tournament 1st Round contest. The Pioneers finish the season 5-9-1 while the Lazers move on to the 2nd round to take on #4 Tompkins Cortland CC.
The Alfred State College men's soccer team has qualified for the 2011 Region III Division III Tournament as the #12 seed. The Pioneers will travel to #5 Onondaga CC for a first round contest on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
The Alfred State College men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 5-0 loss to NJCAA Division I opponent Monroe CC. The Pioneers close out the regular season with a 5-8-1 mark (4-7-1 Region III Division III).
After a sluggish first half, the Alfred State College men's soccer team put the pressure on but could not fully overcome the deficit and fell 2-1 to Tompkins Cortland CC in the rain and wind on Friday evening.
After struggling in the first half, the Alfred State men's soccer team erased a 1-0 halftime deficit with two second half goals to earn their second straight victory, 2-1 over Finger Lakes CC. ASC is now 5-6-1 on the season.
Nick Peraino (Geneseo) netted two goals as the Alfred State College men's soccer snapped a four-game slide with a 3-1 victory over Corning CC. The Pioneers are now 4-6-1 on the season.
Alfred State and Erie CC battled back and forth for 90 minutes with the decisive plays of the contest coming within two minutes of each other. ECC netted the lone goal of the contest five minutes into the 2nd half and then denied a penalty kick opportunity less than two minutes later.
Alfred State and Niagara CCC battled back and forth in an exciting WNYAC contest. The Thunderwolves scored just under three minutes into the second overtime to earn the 5-4 win.
The Alfred State College men's soccer team evened up their record with a 2-1 victory over Broome CC. The win in the team's first home match of the season improves the team to 3-3-1 while BCC is now 4-4.
