All five starters scored in double figures as Alfred State defeated Cayuga CC 81-70 at the Orvis Activities Center on Tuesday evening.  The win improves the Pioneers to 3-4 on the young season.

For the second day in a row the Alfred State College men's basketball team lost a close battle in Ohio.  Sunday, the Pioneers fell 75-71 to Lakeland (Kirtland, OH) CC.  ASC is now 2-4 on the season.

The Alfred State College men's basketball team dropped a close one 79-76 to Cuyahoga CC on Saturday afternoon in Cleveland, OH.  The Pioneers fall to 2-3 on the season.

Both the Alfred State College men's and women's basketball teams earned victories at Corning CC on Thursday.  The women evened their record at 1-1 with a 69-47 victory while the men are now 2-2 following a 77-56 win.

The Alfred State College men's basketball team came out fast and went on to a 80-60 victory over Broome CC in their home opener on Tuesday evening.  The Pioneers are now 1-2 on the season.

The Alfred State College men's basketball team led most of the way but Rockland CC rallied to tie the game in the second half and went on for a 78-73 victory in day two action at the Monroe CC Classic.  The Hawks improve to 1-1 while the Pioneers are 0-2.

Alfred State College sophomore guard Dusty Marshall (Newfield) has been honored for the third time this postseason.  Marshall who was previously named 1st team All-Region and 1st team All-Region adds a 2nd team Basketball Coaches Association of New York 2nd team honor.
