  • Lax falls in Regional Opener

    The Alfred State College lacrosse team started slow and never could recover as they fell 19-7 to Hudson Valley CC in a Region III Tournament 1st round match-up played in Troy, NY on Tuesday afternoon.  ASC finishes the season 8-6 while HVCC advances the semi-finals to take on the winner of #2 Onondaga CC and #7 Jefferson CC.  read more »
  • A-State #6 Seed in Lacrosse Regionals

    The Alfred State College lacrosse team will enter this week's Region III Tournament as the #6 seed.  The Pioneers finished the regular season with an 8-5 overall record and a 7-4 mark in Region III contests.  read more »
  • Big 2nd quarter leads A-State to Win

    The Alfred State College lacrosse team outscored Tompkins Cortland CC 8 to 2 in the 2nd quarter to erase a 1st quarter deficit en route to a 21-17 regular season ending victory.  With the win the Pioneers head into the Region III Tournament with a 8-5 (7-4 Region III) record.  read more »

    The Alfred State College lacrosse team fell behind 7-1 after the first quarter and never could recover and fell 26-11 to #2 Onondaga CC.  The Pioneers fall to 7-5 (6-4 Region III) as they head into their regular season finale on Sunday.  read more »
  • A-State falls to Herkimer

    The Alfred State College lacrosse team led #1 Herkimer CCC 5-4 after the first quarter but the Generals got the offense going and outscored the Pioneers 25 to 6 the rest of the way for the 29-11 victory.  HCCC outscored ASC 11 to 3 in the 2nd and 8 to 0 in the 3rd to take control of the contest.  #1 Herkimer is now 10-1 on the year while the Pioneers fall to 7-4 (6-3 Region III).  read more »
  • Lacrosse downs Delhi

    The Alfred State College lacrosse team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 19-14 victory over SUNY Delhi on Sunday in a game played at Hartwick College.  With the victory, the Blue and Gold improve to 7-3 (6-2 Region III) on the year.  read more »
  • Pioneers Lacrosse falls at FLCC

    The Alfred State College lacrosse team jumped out to a 3-0 lead but Finger Lakes CC scored six of the next seven goals and never gave the lead up in a 19-14 Region III victory.  With the victory the Lakers improve to 8-7 while the Pioneers fall to 6-3.  read more »
  • Lax climbs into NJCAA Poll

  • Pioneers suffer first Region III defeat

    The Alfred State College lacrosse team fell 17-6 to Monroe CC in the first ever night contest at the new on-campus athletic complex.  The Pioneers see their five game winning streak come to an end and suffer their first Region III loss.  The Blue and Gold are now 6-2 (5-1 Region III) while the Tribunes improve to 6-4.  read more »
