Sir Aaron Taylor (West Chester/Lincoln Hall) returned the opening kickoff of the second half 86-yards for a score to break a 7-7 tie and lead Alfred State to a 22-7 victory over the Apprentice School (Newport News, VA) in their 2010 season opener.

Head Football Coach Mick Caba and his team will host a Bone Marrow Registry Drive on Wednesday, April 7 in the Student Gathering Place of the Central Dining Hall. The drive will be held between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Rod Streater (Burlington, NJ) has been enrolled at Temple University since January but made it official that he was a member of the Owl football team on Wednesday during signing day. Streater is one of 27 players to sign a national letter of intent with Temple.
Alfred State College Head Football Coach Mick Caba recently completed the first year of a 2-year term as National President of the NJCAA Football Coaches Association. In January, Caba presided over the NJCFCA National Business Meeting in Orlando, Florida. The NJCFCA meetings are held at the American Football Coaches Association Convention each year.
