Saturday's Alfred State College football game at Lackawanna College has been pushed back a hour and now is scheduled for a 2 p.m. The Pioneers (4-2) and Falcons (5-2) will play at Valley View Stadium in Peckville, PA.
Alfred State College sophomore football player Damion King Jr. (Detroit, MI/Madison Heights) has been named Region III male athlete of the week and the Northeast Football Conference defensive player of the week.

Mike Lawandus connected on a 41-yard field goal in the first overtime as Erie CC defeated Alfred State 20-17 in a wild Homecoming contest. The win improves the Kats to 1-2 (1-0 NFC) while the Pioneers fall to 2-1 (0-1 NFC).
Cody Scepaniak (Vestal) and Josh Griffin (Englewood, NJ) connected on four touchdown passes and Sir Aaron Taylor (West Chester/Lincoln Hall) scored twice as the Alfred State football team rolled past Hartwick JV 56-23. ASC is 2-0 for the first time since 2006 with the victory.
Sir Aaron Taylor (West Chester/Lincoln Hall) has earned the NJCAA Special Teams Player of the Week award following his performance in Alfred State's 22-7 victory over the Apprentice School. Taylor had previously been named the NFC special teams player of the week.
