The Alfred State College football team racked up 600 yards of offense (392 yards rushing and 221 yards passing) as they downed the Niagara X-Men 63-20 in their final non-conference game of the season.  With the win the Pioneers improve to 4-4 overall on the season

The Alfred State College football team battled #19 Lackawanna College tough in the rain on Saturday but the Falcons were able to pull out a 21-7 victory.  ASC falls to 3-4 (0-4 NFC) while the Lackawanna improves to 6-1 (3-1 NFC).

Alfred State freshman DeAndre Johnson (Detroit, MI) earned two weekly honors as he led the Pioneers to a 55-24 victory on Sunday at Hartwick JV.

The offense accumulated 590 yards of offense as Alfred State evened their record with a 55-24 victory over Hartwick College JV on Sunday afternoon.  With the win the Pioneers are now 3-3 on the season.

Alfred State College's football game college scheduled for Monday afternoon versus Brockport JV has been cancelled by Brockport.  The Pioneers will now take the field again on Sunday (10/18) at Hartwick JV.  Opening kickoff is at 1 p.m. in Oneonta.

The Alfred State College football team led 21-14 at halftime but Dean College roared out of halftime and scored 57 points en route to a 71-28 Northeast Football Conference victory.  With the win the Bulldogs remain undefeated (6-0, 1-0 NFC) while the Pioneers fall to 2-3 (0-3 NFC).

The Alfred State College football team has added one more contest to the 2008 schedule.  The Pioneers will travel to SUNY Brockport on Monday October 13th to take on the JV Golden Eagles.  Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Special Olympics Stadium.

Alfred State College sophomore Clifton Krotz (Cattaraugus Little Valley) has been named the Northeast Football Conference defensive player of the week.  Krotz was the leading tackler in the Pioneers 27-21 loss to Hudson Valley.

The Alfred State College football team fell nine yards short of rallying for a come-from-behind victory versus Hudson Valley CC.  The Vikings kept the Pioneers off the board late in the 4th quarter to escape with a 27-21 Northeast Football Conference contest on Saturday.  HVCC improves to 2-2 (1-1 NFC) while ASC falls to 2-2 (0-2 NFC).
