The Alfred State College men's cross country team moved up one spot to #2 in the last NJCAA Division III poll prior to the National Championships while the women's team remained steady at the #5 spot.
John Sweeney (Barker), Brandon Lewis (Red Creek), and Abby Benton (Frewsburg) all raced to All-Region honors this weeked at the Region III Championships. ASC Head Coach Gary Moore was also named the men's Region III Coach of the Year.
