Students at Alfred State College were treated recently to a special dinner featuring main courses of steak, chicken, and shrimp fettuccini, served up by the college's top administrators.
Students from Region I BOCES (Board of Cooperative Education and Services) districts--encompassing Western New York and the Southern Tier--competed recently in a SkillsUSA (formerly Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) Day leadership conference and skills Olympics at Alfred State College, on both the Wellsville and Alfred campuses, earlier this month. Several BOCES schools participated in the event.
Through the efforts of Office of International Education, Alfred State College hosted a delegation from China on March 22. The delegation consisted of 16 leaders from the Chinese education department, colleges, and high schools.
