Student Gathering Place Grand Opening

Alfred State College is hosting NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Organic Agriculture Specialist Sarah Johnston on Monday, Oct. 1, for a full day of conversation and dialogue on the needs of organic farmers in New York State and what role Alfred State's new Center for Organic and Sustainable Agriculture can play, now and in the future, at a WNY Organic Agriculture Roundtable. NYS Sen. Catharine Young is expected to attend.

Alfred State College Student Takes Third in National Competition

Five members of the Alfred State College NYS College/Post-secondary Skills USA delegation placed in the top 10 at the National SkillsUSA Championship in Kansas City, MO, in late summer. Cristian Cruz, East Amherst, who took first place in the state then continued on to Nationals, was awarded a bronze medal for third place in the nation in masonry.

ACES Reopens Central Dining Hall Serving Line
