The Alfred State College baseball used a five-run 2nd inning en route to their first victory of the 2011 season, 8-6 over Rock Valley (IL) College. The Pioneers are now 1-3 halfway through their trip to Cocoa, FL.

The Alfred State College baseball team will travel to #2 seeded Niagara CCC on Tuesday for a 1st round WNYAC tournament contest. The Pioneers enter the tournament with a 3-9 mark in WNYAC play this fall while the Thunderwolves are 7-5. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
The Alfred State College baseball team was swept by Genesee CC in their final regular season WNYAC doubleheader. GCC won 4-0 and 12-2 to send the Pioneers into the WNYAC tournament with a 4-10 overall record and a 3-9 mark in WNYAC play.
