Kyle (Christian) PerrySenior architectural technology student Kyle (Christian) Perry is already making a name for himself in the highly competitive design field—his work has been featured at the 2013 National Convention of the American Institute of Architects and he’s planning a senior thesis that will literally change lives—the design for a new infant care hospital in Honduras.

Alfred State is proud to announce the kickoff of a new Bachelor of Architecture program by its Department of Architecture and Design this fall. One of only eight BArch programs in the State of New York, it is the only degree of its kind in the SUNY system and the only one offered by a public university.

Deschamps is a junior studying architectural technology at Alfred State. He was selected for the scholarship out of more than 2,600 applications and will receive $4,500 from the organization to participate in Alfred State’s study abroad program in Sorrento, Italy in January.
