Nearly 900 two-and four-year graduates, their families, professors, and friends were on hand Sunday, May 17, at noon, as Alfred State College honors its 98th graduating class.

Supporters of Alfred State College gathered at the School of Applied Technology campus recently to celebrate the completion of Phase I of the Construction Workforce Development Center-the shell has been completed and the building fully enclosed. It awaits funding to complete the interior.
Nearly 900 two-and four-year graduates, their families, professors, and friends will be on hand Sunday, May 17, at noon, as Alfred State College honors its 98th graduating class.

The ceremony will be held at McLane Center on the neighboring Alfred University campus. Graduates will need to use the tickets in their graduation packets for their families' admission.

academic achievement was celebrated in April during the 25th annual
Honors Convocation. ASC President Dr. John M. Anderson welcomed the
gathered students, families, faculty, and friends and congratulated them on
their achievements.
Alfred State College presents the 58th Annual Alumni Choral Spring Concert, under the direction of Anthony Cappadonia, ASC director of vocal music emeritus. The concert will be held Sunday, April 26, at 2 p.m. in the Orvis Activities Center Auditorium on the Alfred State College campus.
Michelle Green, MPS, RHIA, FAHIMA (NY), CMA (AAMA),
CPC, PCS, SUNY (State University of New York) Distinguished Teaching
Professor, Physical and Life Sciences Department, Alfred State College, was
named among the Top 10 in HIM (health information management), as published in
the Advance for Health Information Professionals newsmagazine.
Homecoming/Family Weekend 2008 was such a success with the addition of the new Alfred State College athletic complex, the Alumni Association Board has decided to join the festivities and incorporate activities from Bake at the Lake during Homecoming/Family Weekend 2009.
Joseph G. Pelych, Hornell, has been appointed by the NYS Governor's Office to the Alfred State College Council.
Council members serve without salary as an advisory group to the president of the College.
The Applied Technology Campus of Alfred State College has begun construction on the 50th house built by students in various construction-related programs on campus and underwritten by the Educational Foundation of Alfred, Inc., a private foundation representing faculty, staff, and friends of Alfred State College dedicated to improving the A
