The Alfred State College men's basketball team shot just 30.2% from the field and turned the ball over 25 times as they fell 83-55 to Fulton Montgomery CC in the first round of the 2010 ASC Tournament.  The blue & gold are now 2-5 on the year.

Milton Irizarry led the Raiders with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.  Kenroy Morrissaint chipped in 19 pionts and seven boards of the bench while JOse Irizarry finished with eight poins and six assists.  FMCC finished the contest shooting 44.9% from the field, 33.3% from three, and 81% from the foul line.

Melvin Jenkins (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) led the way for ASC with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Patrick Parker (Jamaica/Hillcrest) chipped in 10 pionts and nine rebounds while Ryan Caron (Prattsburgh) finished with nine.

Fulton Montgomery will take on Jefferson CC in the championship game of the tournament on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.  ASC takes on Rockland CC at 2:30 p.m.  Jefferson defeated Rockland 86-62 in the opening game of the tournament.
