Alfred State College will remember those who lost their lives and those who risked their lives as a result of the attack on the World Trade Center 10 years ago with three days of activities which are open to the public.

Alfred State College will remember those who lost their lives and those who risked their lives as a result of the attack on the World Trade Center 10 years ago with three days of activities which are open to the public.

On Friday, Sept. 9, the College will host a remembrance ceremony and balloon release at noon in the quad outside of EJ Brown Hall where speakers and music will honor 9/11 victims, their families, and the responders. Helium-filled (biodegradable latex) balloons will be released in tribute.

On Saturday, Sept. 10, the 2006 major motion picture United 93 which depicts the actions of the passengers of United Flight 93 will be shown at 8 p.m. in the Orvis Auditorium. Watch the trailer.

On Sunday, Sept. 11, at noon, the college will sponsor a www.honorflight93.org.
