Rose Marie Fagan, outreach coordinator, The Pioneer Network, who served as the morning's keynote speaker, discussed pioneering approaches to change the culture of aging from the traditional nursing facilities to a culture that is life affirming, satisfying, humane, and meaningful.  In the afternoon, Dr. Bruce Baum, a professor in the Exceptional Education Department at Buffalo State College and internationally recognized speaker on humor, teamwork, and creative problem solving, presented "Laugh Harder, Live Longer: Coping with Stress through Humor."
