Mercyhurst North East took a 1-0 lead early on but never had a lead until the final minute of the game.  ASC led by as many as 11 points in the first half and as many as eight points in the second half but the Saints chipped away and tied the game when Geovante Rose connected on a jumper with 1:05 left to tie the game at 60-60.  Jason Pitts capitalized on a Pioneer turnover with a lay-up to give the Saints the game-winning basket.  ASC had a three-point attempt fall short on their next possession and Rose hit two foul shots to seal the victory.

Younatan Gobezai (Bethesda, MD) led the Pioneers with 24 points and six rebounds.  Ryan Caron (Prattsburgh) finished with 13 points and eight rebounds, Nick Tucker (Genesee Valley) finished with nine, and Vince Antonioli (Wellsville) chipped in eight points and 10 rebounds.  Patrick Parker (Jamaica/Hillcrest) had six points and nine boards.  The Pioneers starting five played but one minute of the contest.

Rose led MNE with 18 points and 16 rebounds while Pitts finished with 17.  Nate Williams recorded a double-double with 13 points and 16 boards.  MNE held a 47 to 41 advantage on the boards.
