Trailing 4-0 in the bottom of the 2nd in the opener, the Lady Pioneers plated seven runs to take the lead for good.  Amber Harding (Fillmore) was 2 for 2 while Athena Scavo (Hornell) drove in three runs.  Pam Rupp (Cattaraugus Little Valley) tossed a complete game to earn the victory.  She stranded the tying and winning runs on base when she recorded the final out.

Genesee got on the board early again in the second game scoring three in the 1st and two in the 2nd.  The Pioneers mustered their lone run of the game in the 6th on a RBI single by Taylor McCarthy (Watkins Glen).  ASC was held to just five hits in the game.  McCarthy allowed three earned runs in seven innings of work on the mound.

ASC travels to Mercyhurst North East on Saturday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader with the Lady Saints.  They return home on Sunday for a Noon contest with Jefferson CC.
