In the opener, Athena Scavo (Hornell) was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI while Kristen Potter (N. Potter, PA) was 2 for 4. Shelby Freligh (Auburn /Union Springs) and Tara Scholla (Genesee Valley) both drove home runs.
In the nightcap, the Lady Pioneers tied the game at 8-8 in the top of the 7th but the Broncos plated the winning run in the bottom of the inning on a walk-off passed ball. Potter and Freligh were each 2 for 4 with a RBI while Scholla and Scavo were each 2 for 5 with a RBI.
The blue & gold begin their final week of the season on Tuesday when they host Corning CC in their home finale.
