The Alfred State College women's soccer team scored three goals in the first four minutes en route to a 8-0 victory over Cayuga CC.  The win, the teams fourth in a row, improves the Lady Pioneers to 7-3.

The Alfred State College women's soccer team scored three goals in the first four minutes en route to a 8-0 victory over Cayuga CC.  The win, the teams fourth in a row, improves the Lady Pioneers to 7-3.

Holli Pierce (Livonia) recorded a hat trick while Tiffany Fox (Canisteo Greenwood) and Abby Komarc (Horseheads) found the back of the net twice.  Charise Nankivell (Hornell) passed out three assists, Makenzie Finnemore (Genesee Valley) had a goal and an assist, and Mo Parks (Avoca), Jenna Lynn (York), and Danielle Hill (Addison) all were credited with assists.

Komarc scored just 27 seconds into the game followed by back to back goals by Pierce to give ASC a healthy early lead. 

ASC held a 27 to 2 shot advantage in the game.

The Lady Pioneers travel to Corning CC on Thursday for a 4 p.m. match-up with the Lady Red Barons.
