Kraus and Pierce Named ASC Athletes of the Week

Sophomore volleyball player Meghan Kraus (Trumansburg) and sophomore soccer player Holli Pierce (Livonia) have been named the ASC athletes of the week by the SID office.

Kraus averaged 2.88 kills per game in the Lady Pioneers four matches this week. She finished the week with 46 kills, 47 digs, and a team high 12 service aces.  ASC was 2-2 this past week and is 14-10 overall and 9-5 in Region III Division III play.

Pierce scored two goals this past week as the #8 ranked Lady Pioneers won two of their three games.  Her first goal of the week in double OT lifted ASC to a 1-0 victory over Erie CC and then she added a goal in the team's 4-0 win at Cayuga CC.  ASC is 9-2 overall and 8-2 in Region III Division III play.
