The field and brackets are set for the 2011 Alfred State College Volleyball Invitational. The Pioneers welcome seven teams to the Orvis Activities Center on Saturday for the all-day event.
Alfred State will be joined by Mohawk Valley, Herkimer CCC, Butler CCC, SUNY Delhi, Nassau CC, Mercyhurst North East, and Jamestown CC. Nassau and Herkimer both advanced to the NJCAA Division III National Championships last year.
Action begins at 9 a.m. with pool play. In Pool A, ASC will be joined by Mohawk Valley, Herkimer, and Butler. Delhi, Nassau, Mercyhurst, and Jamestown will compete in Pool B.
The top two seeds in each pool will advance to the playoffs which will begin at approximately 4:30 p.m.
