Scores are not kept for the meet and each athlete that participates is asked to bring an item to be donated to the local food pantry.  This year over 80 food items were donated.

Highway Clean UpEarlier this season, the cross country team also spent time helping the local community.  The team got together and cleaned up the flower area at the intersection of 21 and 244 heading into Alfred.

Both projects fall into the Alfred State College athletic department's Athete's for Social Change iniative.
