The Saints held a 33-26 lead at half but the Pioneers scored the first seven points of the half to tie it. A few moments later, MNE led 38-37 before they went on the game-deciding run.
Soutiri Sapnas led the Saints with 20 points (5 for 9 from three). Damon Jones added 15 poings and five assists, and Deandrye Henderson chipped in 12. MNE shot 73.1% from the field in the 2nd half and was 4 for 6 from three-point land.
Marquis Chatman (Allen, TX) led the blue & gold with 16 points while Cristian Santana (Harlem Village Academy) had a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards. Jamar White (Laurel, MD) finished with 14 points, six assists, and six assists while Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) finished with 11.
