CCET presents Current Trends in Substance Abuse Training
Alfred State’s Center for Community Education and Training is hosting a community drug and alcohol training on Oct. 18, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Lake Lodge.The workshop will explore “Current Trends in Substance Abuse” with an emphasis on the resurgence of heroin use as well as synthetic marijuana and bath salts. Steve Hanson, the associate commissioner of treatment and practice innovation for the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, will be presenting.
