Pioneers Finish 3rd at JCC Invitational

The Alfred State swimming team wrapped up the 2012 portion of their season with a 3rd place showing at the Jamestown CC Invitational. Only the men's team competed and scored 155 points on the day.

Mark Pendleton (Beacon) was 2nd in the 100 free (57.39) and 3rd in the 100 back (1:05.31) while Tyler Easterbook (Bath) was 2nd in the 500 free (5:48.04) and was 3rd in the 200 free (2:06.84) to lead the team.

Josh McDowell (Wayland Cohocton) was 3rd in the 50 free (25.41), 3rd in the 100 fly (1:06.70)Kalem Chambliss (Alfred Almond was 4th in the 200 free (2:08.60) and 4th in the 50 free (25.95).

The blue & gold dive back into the pool on January 16th when they travel to Wells College for a dual meet starting at 1 p.m.
